Regular And Unconventional Military Education

Regular And Unconventional Military Education: Regular training is a form of a military training that teaches how to render or defeat the opposing side by using regular weapons and war tactics in an open conflict situation. As a result of regular training, large and regular troops are formed. The aim of both sides is to physically defeat the opposing army. Regular training is the training given for the close conflict of two or more armies. In this training, basic military skills such as physical strength and the ability to use weapons come to the fore. In regular armies, there is conflict with firearms. There is no use of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. A properly trained army fights under certain rules and defends itself against attacks from the opposing army while aiming to defeat the opposing army with specific warfare tactics on the battlefield. For regular training, we can define the training that an army takes to have basic skills in offensive and defensive positions in case of war against another army.

Unconventional warfare is a part of special warfare. Unconventional education is a more detailed and versatile education than regular military education. Armies that receive unconventional training first acquire both combat capability and psychological intimidation capabilities. While large and regular units with lower functionality are formed as a result of regular training, small and functional units emerge as a result of unconventional training. Although the units that receive unconventional training are smaller than the regular units, they are more successful in intimidating the enemy and inflicting losses with the skills and strategies they acquired during training. At the end of this training, units gain many skills and abilities in addition to basic military skills. Thanks to unconventional warfare techniques, a small and weak army can be victorious over a larger and stronger army.

This training also covers air operations, land operations and naval operations. There is an important point to be able to join unconventional military training. It is necessary to provide certain physical conditions in order to receive unconventional education. In addition to all these, at the end of this training, the troops subjected to unconventional military training, become skilled in first aid, operations against irregular units, logistics and leadership.
